Scholarship awarding program 2018-2019

Scholarship awarding program by CFA is also counted as a social mechanism to support partners’ children and the poor community we work and live to get the higher educational background. The scholarship awards include study materials for the whole year, tuition fee, and bike as the transportation mean to and from their homes to school.

 On October 30th, 2018, CFA held the fifth Annual Scholarship Awarding Program 2018-2019 to poor partners’ children of Chamroeun Microfinance Institution. There were 450 applicants qualified for this scholarship program with 95 applicants who won the scholarship awards from CFA. Besides, the following years that CFA launched its scholarship program in 2013 there were applicants mainly from primary school won the scholarship awards as below:

• 2013-2014             : 84 students
• 2014-2015             : 201 students
• 2015-2016             : 96 students
• 2017-2018             : 148 students

 Chamroeun commits to keep this spirit of generosity in helping poor partners’ family across the country to get better coverage and scheme for the next forwarded years as we strongly believe that financial services alone are not enough to help our targeted beneficiaries, the poor population, lift up from the poverty.
